I am hosting a supper to support GMO labeling efforts in our state. 2 local state reps sponsoring this bill, as well as reps from VPIRG and possibly NOFA-VT will be on hand to talk about this bill, next steps, and efforts locally, to support this legislation. This is Friday, August 23, 5:30-7 pm at 1547 East Hill Rd. Please RSVP if you plan to come. Everyone welcome and "pay as you can" for the local, whole food served at the "cafe." All proceeds beyond food cost goes to VPIRG toward GMO labeling.

I am also looking for local produce for our supper and would welcome any extras people may have (lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, zucchini, summer squash, etc.) and want to contribute toward this community dinner.
