This year the town of Middlesex is working with Central VT Regional Planning Commission to complete a Capital Spending Plan process. A team of interested citizens has joined the Capital Spending Plan Committee and we have begun meeting every month or two to help guide the process. Over the spring and summer the committee will be hosting "field trips" to buildings and spaces in our town that will be included in the Plan. Our first trip will be to the Middlesex Fire Department to take a tour of the building, learn about the trucks and ages of equipment, and meet a real volunteer fire fighter! We encourage you to come to the fire house on Thursday May 20th at 6 p.m. to learn more about our town asset. 55 Welch Park Drive, across from the Middlesex State Police Barracks.
