We have a major fundraiser coming up next Saturday (May 1st 10-2, rain date May 2nd)...Mayor Murfee is hosting "The Bark in the Bark". There will be a huge basket raffle (so far we have over 100 baskets with more coming in every day), an artisan silent auction...local artisans have donated paintings, pottery, sculptures.... we have over 30 donations so far for this, a pup "Smooch Booth" where for a small donation you can get kisses from sweet little Sky or have your picture taken with Mayor Murfee, a bake sale and a 50/50 raffle. The good thing about our event is that you don't have to be present for any the drawings or the silent auction...we'll be calling the winners.

So far we've raised enough to have the area fenced and the money from this event will go towards benches, signs, potty stations, garden plants and fun play equipment for the Fur Haven Dog Park.
