Green Up Day is May 1st (The first Saturday in May). You can get your Green Up bags at Halford Motors (on Sandy Birch Rd, during business hours) at the farm stand on the corner of Sand Hill and Sodom road, at Georgia Market (At the far checkout counter) or at the town office (when they are open).

Feel free to collect roadside trash anytime between now and May 1st. Bags can be dropped off any day from now until Green Up Day, at no charge at North West Solid Waste on Morse Drive in Georgia. They must be green up bags and be filled with roadside trash, not household garbage. Also car tires will be accepted for free. (<20")

They are open 8-4:30 every week day.
