Food Pantry is open this Thursday!!
The Heavenly Food Pantry, located at the First Congregational Church on Main Street in Essex Junction, will be open for food distribution to residents of Essex, Essex Junction and Westford on Thursday, April 22, from 2:00-6:00 p.m. Vehicles may enter through the Church Street entrance. Families will be asked to provide proof of residence as well as identification for every member of the household, including children. After registration, vehicles will be ushered to a pick up spot where volunteers will safely deposit food into car trunks. Those who live within walking distance of the pantry are welcome to borrow shopping carts to bring food home and are encouraged to return the carts promptly so they may be thoroughly cleaned and ready for use by others. If you are in need of food and unable to attend the pantry, please call the Church office at 878-5745 between 8:30-2:00 to leave a name, address and phone number and a volunteer will call to arrange delivery.

The Heavenly Food Pantry is open twice a month, the second Monday from 5:30-7:30 p.m. as well as the fourth Thursday from 2:00-6:00 p.m. Families may visit the pantry each time it is open.
The next food distribution will occur on Monday, May 10 from 5:30-7:30.
