COME TO LUNAFEST: to support VT Works for Women & the Breast Cancer Fund
Friday, May 2nd at 6 pm, Main Street Landing, Burlington waterfront

LUNAFEST is a traveling festival of short films by, for, about women. This year’s featured films include stories of reflection, hope and humor from around the world – treating diverse subjects such as – a winning basketball team of grandmothers in their ’70s – a high school wrestler from inner-city Brooklyn preparing for her first co-ed match – and a girl with a high-flying approach to dealing with her Tourette’s syndrome, among other compelling themes.
Inspiring speakers to headline LUNAFEST include: U.S. Olympian Hannah Dreissigacker and former Ambassador Linda Tarr-Whelan. Bring a friend or two or three to this energizing night out on the town in celebration of woman and girl change-agents!
• $40 reception & film screening – 6 pm
catered finger food by FRESH Food, an enterprise of Vermont Works for Women
• $25 film screening only – 7:30 pm

• understand the dynamics of peer aggression
• learn & understand new strategies to implement
• hear examples & case studies first-hand from young women
• name & claim your own anxieties around dealing with peer aggression
• discover news ways to create safe, girl-centered environments like VWW's Rosie's Girls & Dirt Divas programs
Thursday, May 29, 12:30-5 pm
Vermont College of Fine Arts, Noble Hall, 36 College St., Montpelier, VT
