Join The Tunbridge Church for worship and to celebrate Earth Day this Sunday at 10 a.m. at the fairgrounds gazebo (driveway next to library). Pastor Rev. Jenny Cook has prepared a booklet for each person that will foster awareness of stewardship of the earth. It includes a scripture reading, a commitment, and a prayer for each day for a month.
There will be special songs and a litany of praise with quotes from Brian Swimme, physicist; Hildegard of Bingen, mystic; Black Elk, Oglala Sioux; T.S. Eliot, poet; Elisabet Sahtouris, ecofeminist, Edgar Mitchell, U.S. astronaut, and more. All are invited to stay for snack packs, lemonade and teas after the service.
