Public Hearing for Draft Interim Bylaws

The Select Board for the Town of Waterbury will convene a Public Hearing on Monday, April 26, 2021, at 7:00 p.m. via ZOOM and conference call. Connection details will be provided on the Select Board agenda, to be posted and published on www.waterburyvt.com, prior to the meeting.

The public hearing is to consider and receive public comment on Draft Interim Bylaws for the Downtown Zoning District dated April 5, 2021.

The purpose of these draft interim bylaws is to protect the general public welfare and provide for orderly physical and economic recovery for the Town of Waterbury during the COVID 19 pandemic. These draft interim bylaws are intended to facilitate a mix of uses, including commercial and limited light industrial uses, and a diversity of higher density housing in the downtown area.
