What: Parents, community, and staff are invited to attend a Community Forum to meet the FES Principal Finalists. Please come learn more about the candidates and share your questions and feedback.

When: Tuesday, April 29th at 5:30pm

Where: Fletcher Elementary School Gym

All attendees will get to spend 30 minutes with each candidate asking questions of the candidates beginning at 5:30pm. We will not be splitting attendees into separate groups/rooms this time. All attendees will hear exactly the same questions and answers from each of the candidates. The forum should take about and hour and a half to two hours.

Candidate #1:
Karen Casavant - Education: B.M. Music, M.Ed., C.A.S. in Education; Assistant Principal at Highgate Elementary since 2008; Music Director 18 yrs at Northfield Middle/High; Music Teacher 6 yrs

Candidate #2:
Christopher Dodge - Education: B.A. Elementary Ed, M.A. Counseling/School Guidance, post-graduate coursework in School Administration; Principal at Berlin Elementary since 2010; Principal 5 yrs in other VT schools; Assistant Principal/
School Counselor 2yrs; Teacher 7 yrs.

Candidate #3:
Lashawn Whitmore-Sells - Education: B.S. Elementary Ed, M.A. School Admin/Educational Leadership; Assistant Principal at Hunt Middle School (Burlington) since 2012; Teacher 1 yr; Diversity/Multicultural/Equity Director 8 yrs; Elementary Educator 9 yrs
