Hello everybody!
We are excited to announce that we are hosting an Artist Meet/Greet on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 from 5-6pm. Our featured artist of the month is Mwanga William. A Ugandan Painter/Sculptor who started at a very young age while growing up in Entebbe, Uganda. He graduated and received his diploma studying Fine Arts at the MichelAngelo College of Creative Arts in Kisubi, Uganda.
His paintings reflect African cultural activities and lifestyle- fishing, ceremonial dancing, farming, livestock and daily life in the village.
Most of his sculptures reside in schools, hotels and churches throughout all of Uganda.
He is also the Assistant Rowing Coach of the Ugandan National Rowing Team and has been the coach of the Ugandan National Para-Rowing Team. He holds a huge passion for soccer and plays as a striker on a local Ugandan Team.
Show him some love and enjoy some light hors d'oeuvres on us!
