We are so excited about our next virtual cooking session with Vermont State Librarian Jason Broughton! In addition to heading the Vermont Department of Libraries, Jason is an at-home baker extraordinaire and will be guiding participants through the steps of preparing sweet potato pie with yams and a golden, graham cracker crust. While he's demonstrating his baking techniques, Jason will also be here to discuss the many ways the Department of Libraries provides support and advocacy to the 180 public libraries throughout Vermont.
This program is free and open to Winooski residents. Space is limited and available on a first-served basis - to register, contact Nate Eddy, Library Director: neddy@winooskivt.gov / 802 655 6424
Please note: a limited number of ingredient kits will be provided to participants (first-served) and made possible by the generous support of City Market Co-op.
This program is run virtually via Zoom. A special Zoom meeting invite will be sent to you before the session.
