On Thursday, May1st at 10am, Connecting Youth, CVU, local law enforcement and emergency services will hold a mock crash presentation for juniors and seniors outside the school. The CVU road will be closed from 116 to Mechanicsville Road through 11:30am. This dramatic reenactment is very powerful and informative and will focus on the tragedies often encountered as a result of impaired and distracted driving.

When you hear the sirens and see emergency services at CVU, remember that this is a mock crash demonstration, not the real thing. We encourage you to talk about the presentation with students as a way to start a dialogue about the risks associated with impaired driving.
