Folks:

Here is a quick reminder we are planning our work day this Saturday to get Monkton's Rec ball field ready for baseball practices to start up next week. We have some hands-on projects in the works and would appreciate help from the hands that are available. Items we hope to accomplish:

- Raking/weeding the infield
- Cutting /removing brush behind the backstop, right field foul line, and the outfield fence. Lopper cutters will be handy if you have some to bring.
- Installing the new (temporary) outfield fence posts, fence, and foul poles
- Laying out bases/foul lines
- Picking up trash around the yards
- Moving soccer goals and benches

We'll be starting up at 9am on Saturday. Please bring a face mask, any tools for projects you'd like to be a part of, your Monkton ballplayer of course, and we're looking forward to seeing those of you that can help!
