Green Up Day is just around the corner! Join us on Saturday, May 1 to do your part to clean up our community. Like last year, we will have several pickup locations for Johnson residents, including the Village Green, Legion Field, Old Mill Park, and the Municipal Building.

Due to COVID still being a concern, we will not be having any events which would encourage crowds of any size, and we will need to abide by all the same precautions as last year. Those include masks during bag pickup and drop-off, keeping group sizes relatively small (unless you have all been vaccinated!), and all of the other things we have become so good at over the last year. Please also think twice handling any sharp objects and do not hesitate to simply make a note of it for me, so someone can be sent out to dispose of it safely.

If you are part of an organization hoping to take part in Green Up, please get in touch with me ASAP so I can get your bags to you! And if anyone else would like to get bags beforehand for some early Green Up action, just send an email or call me at 802-585-8591.
