SATURDAY, April 10, 10-12 (online)

Japanese gardens are highly-refined, creative interpretations of our environment. The Japanese garden also evokes emotion, conveys a sense of place, and promotes well-being. Nicole LaPlante will discuss Japanese garden design principles, illustrated in both public gardens and humble settings. Key considerations such as human use, material choices, and long-term care will be explored in this talk.

This program will be presented on Zoom.
