On April 10th we'll be having a drive to collect items to be sent in boxes to deployed VT National Guard troops. Donations of any of the items suggested below would be greatly appreciated. Also you can drop off at my house any time before that...just message me.

Drink mixes….hot cocoa, instant coffee, tea bags, creamer, lemonade, iced tea

Easy protein… (NO pork or pork products)... energy bars, granola bars, tuna fish, beef jerky, summer sausage, canned chicken

Easy snacks…graham crackers, regular crackers, cookies, GUM, non-chocolate candy, nuts, trail mix, dried fruit

Toiletries…shaving cream, shampoo, body wash, deodorant, razors, baby wipes, eye drops, tooth paste, dental floss, hand sanitizer, lip balm, SUNBLOCK,
toothbrush, cough drops, icy hot, vicks

Entertainment items…books, magazines, crosswords, newspapers, puzzles, movies, thumb drive, games

Mayor Murfee will also have his tent set up this day to raise funds for the new Fur Haven Dog Park with souvenir Mayor masks, t-shirts, 50/50 raffle tickets and engraved brick order forms. Vicki Shaddock will be there with her collection of May Child silk flower arrangements and a portion of every sale will go to the dog park fund.
