Green-up Day is Saturday, May 1st! Green bags are available for pick up outside the Town Clerk's office, Rumney School and on May 1st at town garage; Shady Rill. Come by anytime to grab a few If you do early clean up - please do not leave bags on the roadside. Instead, please store them and then bring them to the drop off site once the trash containers are in place by May 1st.COVID safety measures will be followed; masks & social distancing. There will be hand sanitizer provided.

Drop off will be at the Town Garage on Shady Rill, in front of the old fire station. The town will provide a garbage container for filled bags and Bolduc's is providing a metal recycling container as well, so please bring down your metal recycling too! We do not accept non-metal recycling, toxic waste or electronics. The bins are usually in place by Friday, but Conservation Commission members will be available to assist at the drop off site on Saturday, May 1st from 9:00AM - 2:00PM.

Middlesex does not offer roadside pick-up of filled green bags - please make every effort to transport the green bags to the drop off site.

If you need assistance transporting clean up items, please email me a week in advance to plan for transporting these items.

This year you when you drop off a trash bag on May 1st you can enter a drawing for a gift card from the Filling Station, Red Hen Bakery or the Roots Market. Thanks to these businesses for their generous support.
