You are invited to experience Easter Sunday Worship with First Congregational Church UCC of Burlington online.
- Worship will include an inspiring message from the Rev. Elissa Johnk, beautiful music with leadership from Dr. David Neiweem, Director of Music Ministries, and time in prayer and celebration. The message of Easter changes everything!
- Lead Minister, the Rev. Elissa Johnk, was recently quoted in a Burlington Free Press Article saying: "This Easter promises to be much better than last year's because the end of the COVID-19 pandemic is in sight. This year I feel like we're really on the other side. The stone is rolling away from that tomb, and the light is shining through. Not only has the pandemic helped strengthen the connection of parishioners, Johnk said the racial and economic inequities that have risen to the forefront in American society in the past year have renewed the congregation's sense of purpose. I feel like we are also feeling more energized about what our mission is, how do we live out the love of God in the world right now?"
- Easter Sunday Worship premieres at 10am on the FirstChurchBTV YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/FirstChurchBTV
