The Central Vermont Solid Waste Management District is holding a household hazardous waste collection at the Tunbridge Transfer Station (64 Recreation Rd., Tunbridge, VT), on June 12 from 9 am – 1 pm.
Bring household chemicals, automotive fluids, pesticides, and herbicides, or any chemical with the words Hazard, Danger, Warning, Corrosive, or Toxic on the label. For more details go to https://www.cvswmd.org/what-is-hazardous-waste
The cost is $20 per car for CVSWMD residents and $100 per car for non-district residents (see list of district towns below). Businesses must call ahead to 229-9383 x105 at least one week in advance.
