Join us on Saturday, May 1st from 9am-12pm to help get our garden ready and have fun while getting your hands in the dirt!
The Allen Brook School has joined the Abenaki Land Link. We recognize that we are living and learning on the traditional territory (N'dakinna) of the people within the Wabanaki Confederacy, who continue to live with and care for this land as they have for countless generations. Our PreK-2 families and educators will be building and preparing garden beds so we can plant corn, VT Mohawk beans and Algonquin Winter squash.
If you would like to join us, please contact Chris Sedic-Lawton at csedic-lawton@cvsdvt.org.
Gardens in Vermont provide food and social connections for thousands of people, including many children and families at risk for food insecurity without access to them. If you would like to support the Vermont Community Garden Network, please make a donation at https://www.classy.org/team/346446. The process is fast, easy, and secure... and you can be sure that it will have a tremendous impact!
