Night Owl Club - Online with Educator, Fairbanks Museum

Past event
Apr 8, 2021, 7 PM

Science educator Bobby Farlice-Rubio takes your questions once a month during our Night Owl Club. This virtual program happens on the second Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM. You can join on Facebook, YouTube or Zoom.

The Fairbanks Museum's astronomy program is featured on WCAX each month, with educator Bobby Farlice-Rubio leading you on a journey to the cosmos! You'll learn about the latest explorations in space, once-in-a-lifetime astronomical occurrences, and advances in space technology. This brief segment will give you a glimpse of what is new and exciting in our understanding of the universe. But what if you want to learn more? Now you can with our monthly Night Owl Club: a virtual discussion with Bobby, answering all of your burning questions about space! Tune in on Zoom or Facebook on the Thursday following our monthly Star Struck broadcasts (which occur on the first Monday of the month), to "talk shop" with our local astronomy guru.

Want to know more about the data coming back from the Mars Perseverance Rover? About rockets being launched from Maine? Or whether there could be life on nearby or faraway planets? Bring any questions you want to discuss about space- the sky is the limit… or is it the stars?
