Join Maeve Kim on Wednesday, March 31 at 1:30 for a virtual travelogue to Monhegan Island off the coast of Maine. The island is one and a half miles long and a half mile wide. But this tiny speck in the big, big ocean holds 17 miles of beautiful walking trails, a truly unique fishing community, and hundreds of years of fascinating history. There are lovely old places to stay, several eateries, and lots of delicious seafood. And, during spring and fall migration, there are thousands of birds. Monhegan is a wonderful retreat from "real life", a place where everyone is on island time and no one's in a hurry. Contact jane@cscvt.org for the link.
