Come visit the Milton Conservation Commission Arbor Day table in the picnic pavilion after Green-Up. We'll have trail maps and brochures; tree-planting and composting information; free insect walk hnad-out;, and plants to swap or give away including Siberian iris, Northern White Cedar, black walnut and beaked hazelnut.
Would you like to help with trail planning, signage, local walks, rain gardens, reducing plastic bag usage or other conservation projects? We are looking for one or two more people to join us. Maybe you would be willing to volunteer for a couple of hours of trail maintenance. Please let us know. You can visit a Conservation Commission meeting on the 4th Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Town Office. We'd be glad to see you and hear your comments and suggestions. For more information contact MCC member Laurie DiCesare (893-1845, NatureHaven8@Hughes.net) or Meghan Grant in the Planning Office (893-1486.)
Hope to see you on Green-Up / Arbor Day. Thanks for your Greenwork! :-)
