Ecological Landscaping with Native Plants

Ecological Landscaping with Native Plants is an introduction to eco-friendly home landscaping including discussion of:

• Common non-native invasive plants and how to manage or remove them.
• Introducing native alternatives that are friendly to pollinators.
• Ideas for blending existing ornamentals with native plants to create beautiful and eco-friendly home gardens and landscapes.

Join us Wednesday, April 7th at 7:00 and get a head start on those pesky invasives popping up now!

This program will be presented by Marybeth Hanley, Consulting Botanist with the Upper White River Cooperative Weed Management Association. She was worked as a botanist in New England for several years, most recently with the Green Mountain National Forest.

This program is co-sponsored by the Rochester Public Library and the Upper White River Partnership. All library programs are currently online via Zoom.
