Energy Committee's Firewood Cutting Bee Sunday

The Craftsbury Energy Committee is conducting their Firewood Program again this year.

Last year we were able to distribute 16 cords of firewood to 13 families in the area and we hope to do the same this year.

12 cords of the log-length firewood is arriving today on the Dustan Field parking lot.

We are conducting a "Firewood Cutting Bee" tomorrow, Sunday, 3/21, from 10 - 2.

If you can come for even just an hour or so it would be greatly appreciated!

We realize that this is a little sudden and people may have made plans, but just thought that I would throw it out there.

Sterling College students will be splitting wood for 3 days next week during their "Work week". Thank you Sterling students!

If Sterling students don't finish splitting the wood we may organize a "Wood Splitting Bee" for next weekend.
