We are a local group exploring our family histories in relation to slavery. If you are researching your ancestors who were slave-holders / enslavers or your ancestors who were enslaved, we hope you will consider joining us. We meet to share research experiences and to discuss the challenges that come from uncovering difficult long-hidden truths. Our meetings include an educational component for new researchers and a time to discuss how our research connects to the current struggles for racial justice. We meet monthly and our next meeting is Thursday, March 25, 6-8 pm, via Zoom. If you are interested in participating, contact doriew@radicalrootsgenealogy.org for more information.
