Welcome All to a Spring Pruning Workshop opportunity in Moretown Village on Sunday, March 28th (snow/wind date Saturday, April 3rd)!
This 3 hour workshop (12-3pm) will focus on fruit trees primarily, though questions about other landscape shrubs/trees are welcome (lilacs, blueberries, bramble fruit). This is the ideal pruning time, the dormant period, before apples, crabapples, plums, cherries, peaches, hawthorn and pears start putting their energy into growing buds, flowers, leaves and fruit. River's Bend Landscaping follows best practices (VNLA Certified Horticulturist) and is Accredited through Northeast Organic Farming Association Land Care Program. We have been 20 years in the business!
There will be room in this Workshop for 14-16 participants allowing for safe, physical distancing during instruction and hands-on practice. Masks will be required. Cost: $28 per person. Please bring your gloves, favorite hand pruners, loppers, hand saws. We will supply ladders, long-handled pruning equipment and will have disinfecting spray bottles.
