COMEDY NEWS! Hello you sweet, wondrous comedy fans!

This is former Levity Manager Carmen Lagala with comedy news! After an AMAZING debut show, tomorrow night will mark the second installment of Six Pack Variety Act, a themed monthly showcase featuring a mashup of performances: stand-up comedy, storytelling, music, & improv, with games, prizes, and more! And it’s free! This month’s theme is “Childhood.” It’s at Zen Lounge (165 Church Street) THIS Saturday, April 26th at 8 pm!

In other stand-up comedy related news, I've been producing and performing
in shows in Vermont for a few years, so if you enjoy fun, laughter or
kittens, here are more things coming up that I recommend:

I produce a weekly show called "Half & Half at HalfLounge" with Phil Davidson (2013 Funniest Comic in Vermont Winner) every Thursday at HalfLounge in Burlington (8pm, 136 1/2 Church Street--free show!). May 1stwill be our 1-year anniversary and the show is always fun, packed, and features a rotation of local talent.

Mass Appeal! is a wildly popular show every 1st Sunday of the month at Sweet Melissa's in Montpelier. 7pm, $5.

The Laugh Bar (basement of Drink) has shows coming up May 2nd and May 9thwith Sean Donnelly (Letterman) and Scott McGlaughlin (Boston Comedy Arts Festival) (https://www.facebook.com/thelaughbar) 9pm, $8.

The Green Mountain Comedy Festival is in it’s 6th year and will be May 21-25 th in Vermont, more info here: (http://greenmountaincomedy.com/)

The Vermont Comedy Divas (myself and 4 other fabulously funny women) will be raising funds for the Greater Burlington Women's Forum at the St. John's Club in Burlington May 14th, $20. Interested in trying stand-up yourself? There are a number of comedy open mics including Franny-O’s on Mondays at 8pm, Half Lounge on Thursdays from 9:25-10:25, Nectar’s on Wednesdays from 7:30-9:30, & The Laugh Bar (Drink) on Wednesdays from 9:30-11.
