S.B. Fair and Impartial Policing Policy

Join us Monday night, March 15, at 8:00pm at the City Council meeting where the South Burlington Fair and Impartial Policing Policy (FIPP) Citizen Committee will be presenting a proposal that strengthens this policy.

Why is strengthening the South Burlington Police FIPP important? South Burlington should be a place where everyone feels safe. Migrant workers, many filling essential jobs in Vermont's dairy industry, cannot feel safe when town policy allows South Burlington Police to actively work with federal immigration enforcement agencies. When any group feels unsafe going to the police, we are all less safe.

Please direct questions about the South Burlington FIPP Citizen Committee proposal to Nancy Hellen at nbhellen@gmail.com.
