Online Passover Seder on Zoom - Sat, March 27

Past event
Mar 27, 2021, 5 to 7 PM

When: Mar 27, 2021, 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM

Shalom,

You are all cordially invited to an online Passover Seder on Zoom, on Saturday March 27, 5-7 pm.

Hosted by local resident Gary Shapiro

As with last year's Seder, let us be together, safely, to tell the ancient story of the Jews being liberated from Egypt. And, we will once again link the ancient story with the story of what is going on in our lives now. So this year's theme is "The Long Road Home through the COVID Desert." Attendees will have the opportunity, if you wish, to share what your journey of liberation from and through COVID has been this past year, and what the journey upcoming may be like. Hopefully, the Seder will be meaningful and enjoyable for people, as we experience some liberation in ourselves, through connecting to our strength, resilience, patience and sense of community at this time of hope and uncertainty.

Of necessity, this will be a simplified Passover Seder, but will still offer the traditional Seder plate and many of the rituals including the Haggadah reading, blessings on the wine/grape juice, songs, etc.

And each of us in our own home can make a Passover meal that we can share together in a virtual, symbolic way.

RSVP required, no later than March 24
