The Burlington Irish Heritage Festival begins tomorrow at noon. Tune in to hear Vermont Lieutenant Governor Molly Gray recounting a little about her Irish roots. Her video greeting will be followed by a playlist of special recordings:
-Songs in Irish with Andy Naughton
-The first of the Kitchen Ceili dance mini-classes with Gerlisa Garrett
-Children's Storytime: Finn McCool and the Great Fish, read by Ruth Murphy
-A coffeehouse session of traditional music: uilleann pipes, banjo, whistle and more, with Santoro and Lemire
The first live, Zoom-enabled events of the Festival: 3:00 to 6:00 pm:
- 'Learn to Speak Irish' with Connemara native Mícheál Ó Máille
- Irish Dance Workshop with the Celtic Cats, hosted directly from the University of Vermont
