Scientific Interdisciplinary Collaboration for the Public Good
A Zoom lecture at 7:00 PM on Monday, March 15th

Bennington Professors and Drs. Tim Schroeder and David Bond will report on their research into groundwater contamination in and around Bennington, Vermont, for which they were awarded a National Science Foundation grant.

Toxicity in groundwater is a serious public health and environmental problem. This research by Drs. Schroeder and Bond and their colleagues at Bennington College is particularly interesting because not only is it a collaboration between the natural sciences and the social sciences, but local citizens are welcomed and heavily involved as "citizen scientists."
