March 20th at 10:30am: join Code for BTV for a virtual event to observe International Open Data Day to explore social justice for new Americans in Vermont by finding, compiling, and analyzing information on the web. No prior knowledge or skills required.

The event will start with a guided discussion to identify priorities in the data, and transition into an open working session to seek, compile, and try to answer some of these questions.

This event will investigate topics such as:
- How many new Americans have had COVID?
- Are state covid efforts providing equitable access to new Americans in Vermont?
- Is there suitable access to expungement or civil court?
- What are the housing and childcare issues facing new American communities?

Code for BTV is an all-volunteer organization focused on civic technology. This event marks the beginning of a longer term effort to produce open data that supports our new American neighbors and family.
