Cameo Baroque — a group specializing in performance of Baroque music on instruments of the period — is coming to Barre! Cameo Baroque will offer “International Baroque: music from Spain, France, Italy, and England.” The concert will include works of Loiellet, the brothers Pla, Corelli, Hotteterre, and others, performed by Leslie Stroud, traverso (Baroque flute); Beth Hilgartner, recorders; Margaret Gilmore, cello; and Ernie Drown (Barre native!), harpsichord.
The concert, sponsored by CAMEO Arts Foundation, is a benefit for the Good Samaritan Haven, the only homeless shelter in Central Vermont. Admission is by free will offering.
