Friday Ripton/Caffe Lena Livestream Concert

Past event
Mar 12, 2021, 8 to 9:30 PM

This Friday March 12th at 8:00 pm The Ripton Community Coffee House and Caffe Lena welcome Jim Gaudet and the Railroad Boys in a virtual Livestream concert.

Jim Gaudet and the Railroad Boys are at once old-timey and timeless. Their music is a gumbo platter of nostalgia, carrying listeners back to 1960s Louisiana and recalling memories of Hank Williams or the Stanley Brothers.

Caffé Lena is recognized as the longest continuously operating folk music venue in the United States. The Library of Congress calls Caffè Lena "An American treasure," and it has been recognized by The GRAMMY Foundation for it's important contributions to the development of American music.

They share the same community-driven ideals as The Ripton Community Coffee House as well as present many of the same voices on their stage. We are honored to co-present this concert with Caffe Lena.

There is no charge for this show but donations are welcome.

Part of the proceeds to this concert will benefit The Ripton Community Coffee House. Visit https://www.caffelena.org/tips/ to donate
