Guilford Community Values Mapping Forum-

Guilford will hold its online community mapping forum on Tuesday, March 9, from 6-8pm. The Planning Commission will welcome your voice at this forum as we work to complete the newest edition of the Town Plan. Your input is invaluable and will help guide our future as a town.

Participants will work together to map and discuss the places they love and value in our town. We realize the 6-8PM timeframe may be difficult for many, but we encourage you to join with your dinner. Think of the evening forum as a virtual potluck with mapmaking and storytelling included.

Here's how to join:

Register at https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZMrdeGsrj4qEtQ6I1uwun7qthbzUuZkr9rk
You will then receive a Zoom link by email.
Use the link in the email to join the meeting a little before 6pm on Tuesday, March 9.

The forum will begin with a welcome by the Conservation and Planning Commissions. Then, Jens Hilke of Vermont Fish & Wildlife will introduce us to community values mapping and break us into small groups where we will discuss and map places that are of value to our community.

Whether your favorite place is the Guilford Playscape or a favorite hiking trail, we would love to hear about it.

If you can't join the forum, there are two other ways to participate from March 10 -24:

1. Map sites online on your own time at this self-directed website: https://www.sevtcommunityvaluesmapping.com/

2. Visit the Playscape to map sites on a large paper map hanging on the kiosk.

More information on community values mapping can be found at: https://www.sevtcommunityvaluesmapping.com/

I hope you may consider being a part of this community endeavor! Your input is invaluable!!

Sincerely,
Michelle
