In honor of International Women's Day, at 6pm on Monday there will be a free screening of the film Madan Sara: The Power of Haitian Women. Most of the produce that feeds Haiti's large urban populations is made available thanks to the hard work of Madan Saras, female market vendors. The filmmakers will conclude with a discussion about the important role these women play in the Haitian economy.
