Have you ever thought it might be interesting to write down some of your life experiences to share with your children or grandchildren? If you've thought about it, but haven't been sure how to begin,on Tuesday, March 9 at 1:30, Mary Peet of Richmond will share her stories of growing up on Steeplebush Hill in Jericho as one of 11 children in the 60's and 70's. She recently published this collection of stories in Steeplebush Hill, a memoir that's available in your local library.
Mary will explain the steps in her writing process and the skills she used to record her rich family stories. She'll share excerpts from her stories along with some of the photos she included in her book. Hopefully, she'll inspire you to get started on your own project.
