Saturday, March 20th from 4 pm - 6 pm
An Online Class; $20 per person; Handout included
In the months when the ground is frozen but the nights are getting shorter, it is not too early to begin planning for the growing season. At Earthwise Farm & Forest, we are committed to taking the time to integrate spiritual practice into our growing plan - as well as sitting with the land to ask what is being invited.
You are welcome to join us, and to bring your questions and longings for learning how to speak, listen and co-create with your own garden or landscape. This online class will introduce the concept of holistic land management as well as give background on some concrete spiritual tools and practices used for listening to the land and working with the energies present in your landscape.
Participants will learn how dowsing can be used in garden planning and communicating with the land, and will be introduced to key concepts of Biodynamic farming. We will also talk about working with power animals & spirit guides and how that can play a part in land stewardship.
A handout and list of resources will be included with this class so participants can leave inspired, energized and ready to co-create and play with the natural world and the unseen energies that surround us.
About the Teacher: Lisa McCrory is a holistic land management consultant and a co-owner of Earthwise Farm & Forest in Bethel, Vermont. She has more than three decades of experience managing land with grazing and incorporating spiritual practices, like dowsing, Biodynamics, Reiki, and Shamanic healing. She has worked for NOFA Vermont, University of Vermont and teaches part time at Vermont Technical College. She has a passionate heart for teaching, and is a skilled practitioner.
This introductory course is intended as a companion to a hands-on practicum event in late April, taking place at Earthwise Farm & Forest (provided COVID restrictions allow for safe gathering). At this follow-up class, we will further our learning together with some exercises in dowsing, along with some other activities to build confidence and success.
