I'm pleased to announce that the February Plainfield Community Supper was successful. We assembled and gave out food for up to 70 people in Plainfield, plus meals for another 50 people in Marshfield through the Onion River Food Shelf.

We now have enough donations for another (bagged) Community Supper on the 4th Tuesday of March... March 23rd. Menu will be announced. Our community donors for March include people leaving money at the door; a significant (anonymous) local donor for the soups, and the family of Sonya Posmentier & Jess Row. The Grace Church, Red Hen Bakery & Joe's Kitchen are also committed to help.

Food for each 120-person supper costs approximately $350. If you wish to contribute to or sponsor a Community Supper in April, May or June - please send checks made out to "Salmon Falls Sangha" (our fiscal agent) and send to me at 123 Hudson Avenue, Plainfield OR contribute through Venmo. Our Venmo account is "salmonfallssangha"
