The North End Studio is hosting an Irish dinner this Friday evening, but may have sold out for the meal and entertainment that promises to be a wonderful event. There are still tickets available for the program tomorrow, Saturday, April 26, at Main Street Landing Performing Arts Center, 60 Lake Street, that begins with the commemoration of the 1864 visit to Burlington by General Meagher, commander of the Irish Brigade. The ceremonies and displays in the Atrium (enter at the patio entrance on College and Battery) are free and open to the public. Then a single ticket ($10 in advance, $15 at the door) gives admission to a play about local Civil War hero Captain John Lonergan at 5 PM (not suitable for children) and a concert by Boston duo Matt and Shannon Heaton at 6:30 PM, both in the Black Box Theater.
