Green Up Day, Saturday, May 3, 8 am -2 pm
Green Up Day is Saturday, May 3rd this year and every year this grass-roots effort exceeds expectations and inspires more to participate!
Bags are now available for pick up at City Hall (See the Recreation Desk). Drop by, grad a few bags, and let us know what part of the city you'll be helping to "green!". A street, a block, a park, it's up to you!
South Burlington has a central drop-off point for ALL Green Up Day collections at the city offices at 575 Dorset Street, right across from the high school. There will be prizes for the most trash collected and for the most unusual piece of trash collected given by the South Burlington Land Trust. This year, the Drop-Off site will also be collecting non-perishable food for the food shelf, and exhibitors from Vermontivate and the Energy Committee will be on hand. Healthy Living will be providing free munchies too!!
Organize your friends, your scouting troop, your clubs, and your neighbors and get some fresh air outside while getting to know your community better and helping to keep our resources clean!
Green Up Day: Saturday, May 3, 8 am to 2 pm. Drop-off Location at the City of South Burlington offices.
