Addison Central Teens is hosting the Expressions of Color Art Gallery in honor of Black History Month and to celebrate the talents of our local youth of color (ages 12-19)! We wanted to create a space where the identities and experiences of youth of color could be highlighted in a community where their lives can go unseen. The prompt for students was to "create something you feel is representative of your identity as a person of color". Thank you to Juniper Creative for leading an art class last week, to Bundle and the Town Hall Theater for making this possible, and to all of the students who contributed their artwork! We hope you enjoy the gallery.
