Informal Town Meeting

Past event
May 2, 2014, 6:30 to 8 AM

Hi all-

Some time ago, I proposed holding informal meetings/gripe sessions that folks could come to and share their thoughts and concerns about the Town in a more relaxed and off-the-record setting than regular Selectboard meetings. At the time, a number of you responded and told me that you would be interested in such a meeting. Let's have the first one next week!

I'll be at the Wayside Restaurant on the Barre-Montpelier Road on May 2nd at 6:30am until about 8am. All Berlin residents are welcome to drop in before work or before you take the kids to school. I'll buy coffee and the Wayside's Cackleberry Special (2 farm fresh eggs, and homemade toast from their bakery) for the first five who show up to chat. I promise that I don't have any Powerpoint slides like I did for Town Meeting - I'll be there just to listen (and eat)! I also heard a rumor about complimentary buttermilk doughnut holes, but don't hold me to it!

My notes from Monday's meeting will be posted shortly.
