Streamer fishing for trout, flies, leaders, lines, rods and techniques with Brian Walencik

Every day Brian starts his day with a cup of coffee that reads, "Work is just something I do between fishing trips," and that's how Brian has led his life. His fishing passion started at a young age when he would fish using traditional gear or "zip guns" as he likes to refer to them. Chasing everything that swam and chasing them with worms and spinner baits. Thirty-four years ago Brian started fly fishing one summer when he was a counselor at a New York State Conservation Camp, and he never looked back.

Since then Brian has tied flies and chased fish all over the world. Five years ago, Brian was inspired by streamer legends like Kelly Galloup, Russ Madden and George Daniels, and he decided to dedicate 100% of his tying and fly fishing passion to streamer fishing for trout. During this presentation Brian will share all of the mistakes he made, so you can avoid them and talk about what he's learned fishing across New England. Brian will talk about trout, flies, leaders, lines, rods and techniques.

If you'd like a sneak peak at some of Brian's flies and recent fly fishing adventures, you can check him out on Instagram @salmotrutta68.
