A 4-part workshop series for women to explore how to approach self-sufficiency expectations with a different perspective while supporting ourselves within a nurturing community. The series will be held on Wednesday evenings from starting March 3rd.
Women are at our capacity to meet the expectations, assumptions, and norms of dominant culture. Maintaining the status quo of what it means to be strong, self-sufficient individuals causes harm to our bodies, our lives, and our communities.
The intention is to inspire and encourage community building among Vermont women to connect and discuss how we can respond differently to the assumed demands of society, and how our words and actions can positively influence cultural narratives.
Workshop facilitators Jennifer Grossi and Rae Carter will draw on their experience as change makers, space holders, and trauma survivors to help participants learn, share, release and grow.
The entire series is on a sliding fee scale:
*$50... low on budget
*$100... standard value
*$150... pay it forward (helps cover sliding fee option for others)
