We are a group exploring our family histories in relation to slavery, people researching ancestors who were slave-holders/enslavers and people researching ancestors who were enslaved. We include both beginning and experienced researchers. We meet to share research experiences and to discuss the challenges that come from uncovering difficult long-hidden truths. Each meeting also includes a short educational section and a focused discussion linking this work to current struggles for racial justice.
Our next meeting is Thursday, February 25, 6-8 pm, via Zoom. If you are interested in participating, contact doriew@radicalrootsgenealogy.org for more information.
