Taxes/Informational Meeting/Voting

Past event
Feb 23, 2021, 6 to 8 PM

Hello, all -

Continuing the Groundhog-Day theme of our lives for the past year, the 3rd installment of the 2020 property taxes is due Saturday by 5 PM. You may slip your payments in an envelope through the slot in the Town Clerk's Office door. (ABSOLUTELY NO CASH!!). Or, you may pay online at http://middlesexvermont.org/cool-links/pay-your-taxes-online/. There is a 3% charge if you use a credit card; a $1.50 charge per e-check. I'll be stopping by all weekend to check for payments and ballots because #thisislifenow

At the same time, you can slip your ballots in their signed, sealed signature envelopes through the same slot in the same door (see above: Groundhog Day). If by some chance you didn't receive a white Town ballot, please double check your envelope and then call 223-5915 or email mdxclerk@comcast.net so we can send you a whole new package. For some reason, this has happened to a small group of voters along a portion of Center Road.

Finally, the Select Board is holding its last Informational Meeting in conjunction with the March 2, 2021 Town/School meeting by Australian ballot at 6 PM, Tuesday, February 23rd via Zoom. The agenda is on the town's website (http://middlesexvermont.org) along with the draft minutes of the previous informational meeting on February 16th.

Somewhere on a small island off of Puerto Rico, a secluded cove of warm, clear, blue water awaits us in theory....

See you soon!
