We are a group exploring our family histories in relation to slavery, people researching ancestors who were slave-holders / enslavers, and ancestors who were enslaved. We include both beginning and experienced researchers. We meet to share research experiences and to discuss the challenges that come from uncovering difficult long-hidden truths. Each meeting also includes a short educational section and a focused discussion linking this work to current struggles for racial justice.
Our next meeting is Thursday, February 25, 6-8 pm, via Zoom. If you are interested in participating, contact doriew@radicalrootsgenealogy.org for more information.
