Drive-Thru Purim CARnival
Thursday, Feb. 25th 3:30-5:00pm
(inclement weather date: Sunday, Feb. 28th, 3:00-5:00pm)
The Jewish holiday of Purim is a celebration of life and a commemoration of the saving of the Jewish people from destruction in ancient times, as told in the Book of Esther.
Families of all faiths backgrounds are invited to drive through the Israel Congregation parking lot in Manchester, VT and have fun at our Family Purim CARnival! Meet the characters from the Book of Esther, enjoy fun activities and bring home tasty hamentaschen treats! Everyone keeps their masks on and kids participate from the back seat.
As part of the tradition of giving to others during Purim, we will be collecting canned goods for Manchester's Community Food Cupboard. Each family member is asked to bring one canned good (especially chili, stew or tuna fish) to donate to those who need help affording food.
This event is free to all. Registration is required. To ensure that no one waits in long lines, sign up times are staggered. Sign up by Feb. 22 to reserve your spot:
